Buck Creek cuts through our neighborhood. It flows from Allegan County, through Gaines and Byron Townships, into Kentwood, through Wyoming and finally to Grandville. Eventually it meets up with the Grand River and into Lake Michigan.
This little waterway was also a stop on the underground railroad. Just across the street from Lemery Park. Escaping slaves would walk in the creek toward freedom.

Buck Creek launched October 2023. We are a new church, centered on the gospel which is the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Meet the team at Buck Creek Community Church. We are a group of people that God has called to lead His vision for this church – to unleash a movement of passionate Christ-followers that are pursuing God, loving people, serving sacrificially, and sharing Christ. Whether it’s on the weekend or during the week, our goal is to always listen and follow where He’s calling us to go and who He’s growing us to be.
Whether you’re just checking out church for the first time, or you’ve been a follower of Jesus for a long time, we’re glad you found us! We hope you come and visit us soon. Our weekend services are designed to help you encounter the presence of God in worship—and to grow in your relationship with God through a practical time of teaching in His Word.

Life Groups offer an intimate environment for meeting and growing together on a weekly basis, with the purpose of becoming more like Jesus. They provide a safe place to encourage, challenge and support one another – so that together we can truly unleash a movement of passionate Christ-followers.
Pastor Chris leads a Discovery Bible Study in the Café on Tuesdays from 10-11 am. Bring your bible and a willingness to pray with and for one another. Everyone is welcome!
We would like to help you learn the specific ways God has gifted you and how you can put those gifts into action here and in the community. Each of our ministries are equipped to help you learn where and how to serve.
